TÜV SÜD is an expert partner for refrigeration and air-conditioning technology
Munich/Nuremberg - TÜV SÜD will present itself as an expert partner for manufacturers of refrigeration, air-conditioning and ventilation systems at Chillventa 2010, to be held from 13 to 15 October 2010 in Nuremberg. The company's range of services reflect its broad scope of activities, from analysis of plans and acceptance of plants and systems to energy-efficiency assessment of plants, systems and components (Hall 1, Stand 1-317). In addition, TÜV SÜD is supporting the Cleanroom Village powered by Chillventa, a special exhibition on cleanroom technology that is debuting this year (Hall 1, Stand 1-522).
To ensure that investments in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems are worthwhile, all aspects must be considered in detail from the outset. TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH supports manufacturers, planners and system operators and provides a comprehensive range of services including inspection, monitoring and certification throughout all project levels: from design and component production, planning, projecting and construction of refrigeration systems and obtaining any approvals necessary down to acceptance of the plant or system and plant management. For example, during plant or system operation the TÜV SÜD experts take responsibility for conducting regular monitoring processes in compliance with relevant standards such as the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV) and the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and with the state of the art – while keeping business aspects firmly in view.
"We see our role as that of a process partner for our clients", says Andreas Klotz, head of the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technology division at TÜV SÜD Industrie Service. "By taking an integrated approach, we support plant and system operators in improving the availability, and thus the cost-effectiveness, of their systems." At the trade show, the experts from TÜV SÜD will also provide trade visitors with information about their energy-efficiency services for plants, systems and components – a further key factor in cost-effective plant and system operation.
